Description

This book describes in a comprehensive manner the components and systems of fiber-optic communications and networks. Coverage is divided into three parts: Part 1 explains the propagation theory over single-mode and multimode fibers, as well as technological features (manufacturing, cabling, connecting). About the Authors

Pierre Lecoy has worked as Professor at Ecole Centrale Paris, France since 1984. His research interests include fiber-optic sensors and radio over fiber networks.
