Description
This book gives a progress report on the current state of this field, specifying both its advantages and limitations. It is structured in three major parts. First, an overview is given of the main tools and formalisms for automated language processing at lexical, syntactic and semantic levels. Next, coverage is given to the current tools of definition and management of essential linguistic resources in many projects of language engineering. Finally, the principal applications are detailed.
