About the Authors
Dominique Thomas is Professor of Process Engineering at the University of Lorraine, France. His research on filtration and aerosol characterization involves the fields of human safety, the environment and processes.
Augustin Charvet is Assistant Professor of Process Engineering at the University of Lorraine, France. His research studies deal with the characterization of aerosols and their collection with different kinds of separators (fibrous filters, bubble columns, granular beds, etc.).
Nathalie Bardin-Monnier is Assistant Professor of Process Engineering at the University of Lorraine, France. Her research studies deal with the filtration of aerosols and dust explosions and are conducted using computational tools such as CFD codes.
Jean-Christophe Appert-Collin is Assistant Professor of Process Engineering at the University of Lorraine, France. His research, conducted in the Reactions and Chemical Engineering Laboratory, focuses on filtration of solid and liquid aerosols by fibrous media.
